  3. DOCUMENTATION FORMAT
  4. --------------------
  5. There are two versions of the main documentation file:
  6.  
  7.     KTFLEA.DOC  <----- DOS Text File.
  8.     KTFLEA.WP   <----- WordPerfect 5.1 File
  9.  
  10.     They both contain identical information.
  11.  
  12.  
  13. UPGRADE TO VERSION 2.0
  14. ----------------------
  15. If you are not currently using a version of KT-FleaMarket prior to v2.0,
  16. you don't need to read any further.
  17.  
  18.     !!! ENSURE NO USERS ARE CURRENTLY LOGGED ON TO KT-FLEAMARKET !!!
  19.  
  20. These instructions will upgrade your current version of KT-FleaMarket to
  21. the new KT-FleaMarket v2.0.
  22.  
  23. Take a look at the new KTFLEA.CAT file.  This contains a much broader
  24. listing of possible Categories to use with KT-FleaMarket. You might want
  25. to consider incorporating this file into your existing Category file.
  26.

  28. 1)  Go to the directory which contains your CURRENT KT-FleaMarket
  29.     System.
  30.  
  31. 2)  Using your favorite Text Editor, read in your CURRENT Category File
  32.     (KTFLEA.CAT).
  33.  
  34. 3)  Remove ALL comments, notes, remarks, etc from your current
  35.     KTFLEA.CAT file.  This includes the instructions that were
  36.     previously placed in the last part of that file with prior versions.
  37.  
  38.     On the very first line (line 1) of your KTFLEA.CAT file, add this:
  39.  
  40.         ALL CATEGORIES;ALL
  41.  
  42.     Be sure to enter it EXACTLY (all caps and semi-colon)!
  43.  
  44. 4)  Save the file (KTFLEA.CAT)
  45.  
  46. 5)  Copy the following NEW v2.0 files into your CURRENT KT-FleaMarket
  47.     Directory:
  48.  
  49.         KTFLEA.EXE
  50.         KTFM200.DBF
  51.         USERHELP.TXT
  52.         LOCAL.BAT
  53.         PURGE.BAT
  54.         PACK.BAT
  55.         MAKETEXT.BAT
  56.         SETUP.BAT
  57.  
  58.     Make sure you are still in your CURRENT KT-FleaMarket Directory.

  60. 6)  Again, ensure no one is currently logged into the KT-FleaMarket Door
  61.     on another node then issue the command:
  62.  
  63.         KTFLEA UPGRADE
  64.  
  65.     After the Upgrade is Successful, you may delete the file KTFM200.DBF.
  66.  
  67. 7)  Now go to the SETUP portion of the KTFLEA.DOC file and read on from
  68.     there.  It's very important that you read the new doc's as the
  69.     system has been completely redesigned.
